We provide access to up-to-date financial data across the SME private market sector through our core database of 34 million balance sheets. This core database is augmented each month with some 40,000 first time balance sheets and around 200,000 updated balance sheets.

At 1st March 2025, there were 5,626,629 active companies of which 3,758,516 had filed accounts.

We hold full balance sheet data for 94.14% of those active companies that have filed. For the remaing 5.86% we hold total assets or net worth data.

The 10 key data tags extracted should cover most uses of the financial data. Certainly, enough to establish the company's health. We only extract balance sheet data where the tag is present. To be fair to all companies, we only aggregate data where necessary otherwise we do not manipulate the data. Sometimes, they may be gaps in the years and some tags may be missing in successive years. We do not squirrel around in the 'Notes' for additional data; so do not attempt to fine tune the data.
